Commenced practice in 2000 as a Criminal law Solicitor in Sydney for the Aboriginal Legal Services(NSW/ACT) rising through the ranks from junior solicitor to managing lawyer appearing almost daily in jurisdictions ranging from the Children’s, Local, District and Supreme Courts as well the State Parole Authority.
In May 2009 I was called to the Bar where I have advised and appeared extensively In the Local Courts but more so now in the District Court in its Trial and Appellate jurisdictions, the Supreme Court, and the Court of Criminal Appeal. I have continued to appear at the State Parole Authority at Parole and Revocation Hearings as well appearances at NCAT and the NSW Crime Commission. I have worked all over New South Wales.
Interstate, I have appeared in the County Court of Victoria and the Supreme Court of Queensland. I practice out of Sydney and Lismore and will take briefs across both State and Country.
I am on most legal aid panels, most notably the Complex Crime and Appellate Panels.
